LAPTOP
SCHOLARSHIP:
Bright
House
Networks
recently
announced
the
implementation
of
its
Bright
Futures
Campaign
which
is a
two
part
educational
initiative
recognizing
Educators
and
Students
that
teach
and
attend
schools
in
Bright
House
Networks
service
areas.
The
Laptop
Scholarship
Program
recognizes
high
school
seniors
matriculating
to
college
with
a
new
laptop,
related
software,
and
carrying
case
for
their
leadership
skills,
academic
achievements
and
community
service
activities.
Criteria:
-
Be a full-time senior attending a high school within a Bright House Networks Service area
-
Demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities or through work experiences
-
Demonstrate a strong commitment to community service involvement
-
Submit the completed application form, and include a one-page essay describing the importance of leadership and community service in their local community
All
applications
must
be
complete
and
postmarked
no
later
than
March
16,
2012.

B.REGIONS RIDING FORWARD SCHOLARSHIP
In celebration of the contributions of African Americans past and
present,and February’s Black History Month, Regions is proudly
offering the
Regions Riding Forward Scholarship.
If you know a high school senior residing within Regions’ footprint
that will be attending college this fall, encourage them to
participate in an essay contest for a chance to win one of 25
college scholarships of $5,000 each. Dependents of Regions’
associates are eligible to enter the contest. Criteria:
-Contest will be open from Jan. 15 through
Feb. 29, 2012.
-Contestants must submit a 500-word essay about how an African
American, past or present, has inspired them
-For full contest rules,to submit an essay online, and to read about
inspirational African Americans , click on the above listed
hyperlink. Winners will be announced in April.

SCHOLARSHIP
For 5th Grade students of the
2011/2012 school year. Includes paid camp fees & transportation
for 1 week at the US & Space Rocket Camp in Huntsville, AL

be submitted by the student by March 30th, 3pm
