LAPTOP SCHOLARSHIP: Bright House Networks recently announced the implementation of its Bright Futures Campaign which is a two part educational initiative recognizing Educators and Students that teach and attend schools in Bright House Networks service areas. The Laptop Scholarship Program recognizes high school seniors matriculating to college with a new laptop, related software, and carrying case for their leadership skills, academic achievements and community service activities. Criteria: Be a full-time senior attending a high school within a Bright House Networks Service area Demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities or through work experiences Demonstrate a strong commitment to community service involvement Submit the completed application form, and include a one-page essay describing the importance of leadership and community service in their local community All applications must be complete and postmarked no later than March 16, 2012.
