Congratulations to Brandi Montgomery for being inducted into the following at the University of Alabama:
1. The Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society (National Honor Society for first year students) - April 2011
2. Recognition by the Black Faculty and staff as a Black Scholar - April 2011
3. Phi Sigma National Freshman Honor Society - March 2011
4. The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) - the honor society for high achieving first and second year students. - February 2011
Congratulations to Alaynna Monique Pruitt for winning 1st Place in the Phillips Academy Science Fair/ 8th Grade Division for Environmental Science. Alaynna has represented Phillips Academy in the Birmingham City District Science Fair Competition with her Award Winning Science Projects for 3 consecutive years (6th, 7th & 8th). Great Job Alaynna!!!

Congratulations to our NRS Bible Bowl Team
Team No. 1: Ashlynn Berry, Brianna Heath, Juanita Juanita, Tyrone January, Stephon Montgomery II;
Team No. 2: Aaron Cleveland, Kevin Cleveland, Jordan Cleveland, Robert Heath, Denzel Pugh, Vincent Fisher Jr.
There were a total of 13 teams participating. NRS Team 1 captured 2nd Place. All teams will be honored December 10, 2011 at their Awards Banquet held by the Mt Pilgrim District. Ashlynn Berry will be honored as the MVP (Most Valuable Player)!!
